Singapore → Brisbane → Rockhampton → Singapore

Had a 5 hours layover in Brisbane as our transit flight was cancelled. Our faces were damn sian when we saw a train to Gold Coast but we can't take it... So the next best thing was to head to a factory outlet near the airport! Bought myself a camera bag (thank god I didn't bring from SG) as it was half price and got myself apples and milk for lunch as the cafes are so expensive. Went to catch our Virgin flight to Rockhampton!

Central Queensland University (CQU) was our accommodation for the first week. Totally reminded me of OMF. The meals and ONE morning run! The first week consisted of trainings from the Australian Defence Forces on how to take care of the training area, shopping and sight seeing. But mainly shopping and sight seeing ;) We moved into the training area at the end of the week and slept on a stretcher in a tent for about 3 weeks. Did a lot of other random things in between but I guess that pretty much sums up my time in Australia!

It's a pity I took this through the car window.

吃沙 or 'eat' sand. The training area is so damn freaking dusty. Blame the tanks.

Weeds everywhere! Not really... But it was definitely an eye opener for me how environmentally conscious the Australians are. Back here in Singapore... Hmmmm...

First time using the HDR function on Lightroom and it turned out looking normal! Definitely better than Photoshop's. Used 5 exposures (-2 to +2).
